New River Marina is a Fort Lauderdale full-service shipyard serving the entire south Florida boating community.  New River Marina is known as "South Florida's bottom paint specialist." 

In 2008 the former New River Marina was acquired by Fort Lauderdale businessman-entrepreneur Alex Nichols who formed a new company, New River Marina LLC.  In July 2009 John Connor was named general manager and in October 2009 David Miller joined the company as a broker at New River Yacht Sales and The Trawler Center. 

The "New" New River Marina LLC is active in a variety of marine related groups including the Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF) and the Marina Mile Association.  The company is a member of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, the local Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Yacht Broker Association.
